About Me

A little about me....

The Lord blessed me with a Christian home and Godly parents from the day I was born. I grew up going to church, reading Bible stories, and singing gospel songs. Still, however, I had not yet accepted Jesus as my Savior, though I knew it was something I needed to do :) I remember reading a childrens booklet on salvation, and then one evening as I was getting up from the dinner table to clear the dishes, I said a short prayer "Jesus, please come into my heart". This was when I was around 8 or 10, and I recommitted myself to the Lord a few years later, too. The one thing that I noticed after salvation, was that prayer became a regular part of my life. Life is not easier in the sense that everything is perfect now, but it is easier because I know the One who knows all. He guides me in my daily life as I seek to follow and become like Him.

I am not perfect and never will be, until the day I go to be with Him in heaven. I am going there because I have accepted His payment for my sins. Where are you going when you die? Would you like to know before you go? Death comes to us all and you don't know when it will be your turn. God is holy and just. Punishment for those who do not follow His laws is eternal damnation in hell. God is also merciful because He provided a way of escape from hell. His Son died for the sins of the world so that we don't have to be separated from God, the One who made us and loves us. This salvation that cost so much to give is free to any and all who will take it. All you must do is: Admit you are a sinner and have broken God's laws, Believe that Jesus is the only one who can save you, and Confess your sins before Him. Ask Him to come into your heart and life, and He will.

Did you? If so, I'd love to hear about it! Drop me a note! :)
The angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that repents!
Tell others about Him, read His word the Bible, and pray to Him daily.
I would encourage you to find a solid Bible-believing church near you and attend it regularly. The fellowship of other saints is very encouraging :)
